Hiatus. noun. A brief pause or break in continuity.
Things have been quiet around here this year.
Since our last update about tariffs, we've mostly been heads-down instead of online. Between the shifting rules, the general chaos of shipping across the border, and trying to guess what new change might show up next, we spent a lot less time on social media and email, and a lot more time fixing things behind the scenes.
The biggest project was overhauling how we ship to the U.S. Orders no longer go out via UPS. Instead, they now ship through Canada Post and USPS. Duties and tariff fees are prepaid at checkout, so there's nothing waiting for you at the door. It's a simpler system than before, and noticeably cheaper too. (For now, at least. We'll keep you posted if that changes.)
The quiet time wasn't wasted, though. We also used it to refine the Lite Easel and Superlite Easel, and the newest versions are finally here. Countless small tweaks add up to a much better product. Smart business strategy or not, obsessing over those tiny details is one of our favorite parts of this job.
And yes, the website finally got the refresh it's been needing for a while. We hope you notice.
