Lite Easel - Water Kit - 2026

A compact, foldable easel built for watercolor and gouache artists on the go, whether you're capturing shadows on a street corner or the serenity of a mountaintop.

At just 0.9kg (2lbs) and 23x23x5cm (9x9x2inches), the Lite Easel slips easily into a backpack or carry-on. It sets up on a tabletop, mounts to a standard camera tripod, or balances on your lap, adapting to however you like to work. The lid opens a full 180° for maximum flexibility, and interchangeable palettes and optional shelves let you customize the setup to suit your style.

This is the updated version of our original Lite Easel, itself evolved from the Superlite. Same familiar size and layout, refined with smoother lines, improved ergonomics, and a number of thoughtful updates throughout:

  • New Cup Shelf - Now includes a groove for resting brushes or pencils, five brush-storage holes, five neodymium magnets for securing accessories, and an opening for a water cup.

  • Optional Bottom Shelf - Adds extra workspace seamlessly.

  • Refined Build - Rounded fillets throughout, refined radius sizes, and upgraded hinge hardware for smoother, more durable use.

Lite Easel Water Kits are available exclusively in Grey stain.

Suited for watercolor pads 9×12inches (23×30cm) and smaller. Not recommended for heavier media at this size or larger, such as watercolor blocks or thick sketchbooks.
