We kept the same familiar size and layout as the original, but refined the design with smoother lines, improved ergonomics, and a number of thoughtful updates throughout.

Whether you're capturing shadows on a street corner or the serenity of a mountaintop, the Lite Easel is the perfect companion for watercolor and gouache artists on the go.

Evolved from our original Superlite Easel, the Lite has a larger mixing area, an expanded pivot shelf, and an ambidextrous design that adapts to the way you work. New for 2026, the pivot shelf now includes a groove for resting brushes or pencils, and an optional underside shelf offers even more workspace without adding bulk.

Weighing just under 1kg and measuring only 22 × 22 × 4cm, the Lite slips easily into a backpack or carry-on. Precision-cut Baltic birch plywood, upgraded aluminum hardware, neodymium magnets, and a removable molded plastic palette combine durability with easy maintenance.

Whether you work on a tabletop, mount it to a standard camera tripod, or paint from your lap, the Lite Easel adapts effortlessly to your workflow. The lid opens a full 180° for maximum flexibility, and interchangeable palettes and optional shelves let you customize the setup to suit your style.
