You may have noticed things have been a little quiet around here.
Since our last update about tariffs, we've been contemplating life standing back and assessing the situation. Between the shifting rules, added expenses, and trying to guess what's next, we spent a lot less time promoting our products and a lot more time tuning things here at the shop.
A key improvement was overhauling how we ship. Orders no longer go out via UPS (due to insane tariff brokerage and service fees). Instead, orders now ship through Canada Post, USPS and other local postal services. Americans now prepay duties and tariff fees at checkout and are substantially lower than our original options. It may not be as speedy a delivery as before, but in exchange it's noticeably cheaper and still reliable.
The quiet time wasn't wasted, though. We also used it to refine our Lite Easel and Superlite Easel, and the newest versions are finally in stock. Countless small tweaks add up to a much finer product. Updating our products every year or so may not be the smartest business strategy, but obsessing over those tiny details is one of the best parts of this job.
And yes, the website finally got the refresh it's been needing for a while. We hope you like it.
