At Cup Easels, we believe in quality craftsmanship. That’s why we offer our factory second products—fully functional items with minor cosmetic flaws, available at a reduced price. These imperfections not only help reduce waste but also provide an economical option for our customers to keep creating. Cosmetic flaws may include:
- Plywood imperfections/patches
- Small chips or dents
- Inconsistent stain
- Flawed laser engraving
The newly updated Tripod Cup Shelf brings convenience and versatility to your plein air setup. Featuring 4 powerful neodymium magnets, it pairs seamlessly with our Backboard, keeping your accessories in reach while you paint. Now reversible, the shelf allows you to switch the cup hole to either the left or right side, adding even more flexibility to suit your creative flow.
Suitable for watercolor, gouache, oil, and acrylic painting, the shelf can be its own minimal setup when paired with our Backboard or used alongside our Superlite or Lite Easel if you prefer more workspace.
Designed to fit a wide range of camera tripods, the shelf includes designated brush holes, a large 3.25” (8cm) hole for a collapsible cup or solvent can, and front corner notches to hang disposable bags. Crafted from sealed Baltic Birch plywood, it’s sturdy yet lightweight. Measuring 14" x 12" and weighing just 1.2 lbs, it’s easy to transport—perfect for any plein air adventure.
